Who are we?
The Maryland Stream Restoration Association (MSRA) brings together consultants, regulators, and educators to better understand the science of stream restoration and share our knowledge with each other. We typically have 4-5 events per year. Many of our events focus on technical presentations with at least two field trips per year to visit recent and historic stream restoration sites.
We have recently been involved in preparing college graduates who want to enter the stream restoration profession by organizing job fair events and initiating college level stream restoration courses.
We are also supportive of the restoration research program aimed to answer key questions in order to improve stream restoration. We have identified knowledge gaps and provided outlets for the research to be shared to our membership via field trips or technical presentations.
Our events are great for networking and socializing and are usually held at a local watering hole. The location of our events are focused in the Baltimore/Annapolis/DC area of Maryland. Below is a list of the events we have planned for this year and beyond.
