More Information

When: April 11th, 2026

Time: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Where: The Animal Science/ENST Building at the University of Maryland College Park

WHY ARE WE CONTACTING YOU?

With the implementation of the Chesapeake Bay TMDL, the stream and ecological restoration industry is hard at work planning, assessing, designing, constructing and monitoring projects to restore our streams and watersheds. With this increase in work, the need for smart, trained and technically-able college graduates has never been higher across the industry.

We are asking for Junior staff volunteers (approx. less than 10 years of experience) to participate in the young professionals panel.

WHAT IS IT?

The MSRA Spring 2026 Stream Restoration Seminar and Job Fair will consist of presentations from a diverse group of speakers from the Stream Restoration industry within the state of Maryland, and a Job Fair focused on Stream Restoration internships and entry level positions.

The purpose of this event is to:

  • Introduce undergraduate and graduate students to the Stream Restoration industry.
  • Make students aware of some of the Career Pathways that are available in the Stream Restoration industry.
  • Discuss the skill set and knowledge base that hiring managers are looking for in prospective employees, and follow up with the opportunities that are available for students looking to develop their skills and knowledge base.
  • Provide an opportunity for students to meet and interact with potential employers within the Maryland Stream Restoration Industry that may have internship and entry-level positions available

If you and your company have an interest in participating, please contact Maddie Berg at 443-564-8141 or Madeline.Berg@stantec.com Booth space is available, but must be reserved by March 31st, 2026
